I know this used to work.

Now on a new project, I cannot get "Static Scan" to work.

The wizard runs, finds and selects all the files, but then...

1: The "File Selection" list appears to have all the files found, and checked [x] but
will not scroll
2: I cannot un-check any files
3: I click [Add] button, and none are added to my project and wizard closes.

Running Win2000 pro, SB5.3.1414 Prof. CW6.2.9049

Any clues?

Thanks

John Griffiths

Problem Solved. It is working again, but SB5 may need a warning message or something
added for users like me <:-D

I went back and tried to build the project in SB4 (yes, I am desperate to build this
proj today). There the static scan worked OK and I was able to scroll the file list.

This showed me that there was an ERROR in locating one of the DLLs. That ERROR DLL was
at the foot of the list (in SB4) and was probably also flagged as an error in SB5, but
was out of view, and the list would not scroll, and there was no indication of the
problem.

What I had done, was to be using multiple CW6 versions, with Lee White's great SWITCH
program, and I had CW6.1.9025 active where I was trying to build a CW6.2.9049 project.
A 3rd party DLL had wisely been renamed for CW6.2 and was not in the working CW
folder.

All fixed when I switched to the correct CW active version with SWITCH, and the static
scan worked.
