I do not have a maintenance agreement.
Whenever I start up SB5 it comes up with the WEBUPDATE window.
If I click cancel, SB opens up, but the window is all broken up and my PC
usually hangs.
Is there no way round this?

I have that checked but I STILL always get the update warning.

Hi Sim,

Without a current MA you should not be looking for updates
automatically. Check the Web Update tab of your options. Change it to
"Never". See attached.

Sim,

Just checked this. I downloaded the Gold (#1244) version and entered
your code.

The I marked the "Do not show this warning again" checkbox and set
"Check for software updates" to Never.

Restarted the IDE and there is no "Maintenance Key" warning nor a
"Check for Updates?" message any longer.
