View Full Version : How do I delete a registry key before resetting it
The reason I ask is setup is crashing when it tries to write a REG_BINARY. I'm not sure why it's crashing. But, I found if it doesn't currently exist, it doesn't crash. So, I think a way around is if I delete it first.

Hello,
You can use the "Edit Registry(Remove Key and All Subkeys)" or "Edit Registry(Remove Value)" to delete registry keys.
BTW, would it be possible for you to export the key that causes the GPF and send us the .reg file?
Thanks,
Friedrich

I think we have fixed the problem. This will be part of the next maintenance release.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
