I am using SB 4.03 (for Clarion) to create setup files. Can you create a
setup file that contains options, i.e., Client tools, Admin tools, etc.,
meaning, based on an option during setup, client programs or client and
admin programs are installed. Or can this only be handled by maintaining
two setup projects? I don't really know what you call this type of
capability so I haven't found anything in the help topics yet. Thanks for
any comments or help references.

Thanks,

John

This can be done easily in SB5. Take a look at the "Features" option.
When you create a new feature you will get a separate tree in the
"Files" tab where you can specify files that are to be added with that
feature. You also get a separate section in the "Registry" tab.

For example in a client install I have a "Server install" feature,
that adds several database engine/server files. You can then query
the %SB_FEATURESID% variable for a pipe ("|") delimited list of all
features selected.
