View Full Version : Executing program with #run

Hi Friedrich,

I put a #run test.exe into a script with the Post-compile on. When I
compile the log says:

Process post compilation tasks...
Executing... test.exe
OK

That's fine, but I have a problem with that OK since there is not a TEST.EXE
anywhere in sight<g> I would have expected something like "EXE Not found"
or something. To make sure it wasn't finding some test.exe somewhere on the
PATH, I changed the name to abcdezdgasces.exe which should be far less
likely to be found - same thing<g>

I'm not sure it should post a compile error, but it should - IMO - indicate
the darn exe wasn't found and certainly not run;)

Best regards,

Did you try this code (from the Help) ?

#run c:\test\test.exe

#ifdef SB_ERROR Not Equals "0" Then

#msg "error"

#halt

#else

#msg "no error"

#end
