SetupBuilder 5.5 Dev Edition / Expired Maintenance Subscription

All,

If you have SetupBuilder 5.5 Developer Edition (build #1589) with an expired
maintenance subscription and you decided not to renew your subscription, the
UPDATEprotect feature disabled itself.

We have uploaded a hotfix patch to fix this problem. Please download and
install the following binary patch (449 KB):

http://www.lindersoft.com/sb50/SB55_1589b_Dev.exe

This patch is *not* required if:

- you have a valid and active maintenance subscription
- you are not on build #1589
- your are not using the UPDATEprotect subscription feature

The above patch does not increase the build number nor does it include other
fixes/enhancements.

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Hmm, I have used your serial number and maintenance plan and it disabled
UPDATEprotect in build #1589. Then I applied the patch and it worked fine
UPDATRprotect is enabled). What's the date of your sbuilder.exe now? Do
you still get a compile error?

Hi Friedrich,

It is dated 5th sep and that is checked and still getting the error in red
at compile time

Maybe because my maintainance plan is mine and not yours <BG> .....

What is funny - if it is relevant - is that my main setup compiles properly
with no pb and I use there the....no it is normal as it is not a
verufucation but an installation...sorry

Do you want my sb5 file after removing all the files in there ?

Hi Jean-Pierre,

Please try to uncheck the "Do not display Maintenance and Support Plan
Expiration Warning" checkbox (Options... -> General Tab)
