Installed 2509... recompiled RunTest, and ran it.

%_SB_ERRORCODE% still returns -1
%_SB_RETURNEX% returns 267

Also 'unhelpful'.. maybe add a call to "FormatMessage" or similar, to make
it human readable....

So, once I referred to online doco and got "The directory name is
invalid"...

...and armed with that, I looked at your RunTest app... and yes: you set
"DataPath', but didn't actually test-for or create the folder!
Thus it failed on the Run ....

But the point is: having this human freindly (ie text) info available inside
SB would be a help...

Which was actually the *original* point of the post!! <G>

PS Now I'll need to back-track *my* Run issues and see what's behind that.

My Run issues have disappeared when compiled with 2509!!

On the (in)famous test machine, where Errorcode previously returned -1, it
is now working - NOT using ShellExecute! - and returning 0 error code.

I guess I should just lie back, smile and relax......
