Because this is a subject that hasn't been addressed mostly in a very
practical singular example code illustration, I decided to write a blog
that might be useful to Clarion developers in general who haven't adopted
some updated method to get important appdata files and INI files out of
their EXE folders, and into Vista safe folders.
I have updated the blog to include install screen shots as well, so you can
more easily see the overall picture of creating a Vista safe appdata folder
and important areas to address in your Vista compatible install.
Clarion programs - Making AppData Vista safe and XP compatible

If you viewed this blog, prior to March 2, 2009 update (and copied the
code), please revisit the blog and review latest code updates (and copy the
current code).
Arnor Baldvinsson of Icetips Creative pointed me to a single global embed
point that supports both File Manager 3 and ClarionTools ini use, so the
code can now more readily adapted to those who do not use those products.
BTW, my own Product Scope 7.6 - not officially released yet, but soon -
will use some of the very same methods. For some early Product Scope 7.6
screenshots

And it installs to:
C:\Program Files\Encourager Software\Product Scope 7
