I tend to keep my SetupBuilder project files in the same directory as
the source for the corresponding application. As far as I'm concerned,
it *is* one of the source files for an app. I also may maintain an
application on more than one computer (Desktop for when working at home,
laptop for when on the road), with the sources synced up using
Subversion. Since the different computers have different directory
structures, I prefer to specify paths relative to the .sb6 project
file's location (i.e. relative to [SB_PROJECT]. Most of that I've got
handled by the templates I've made up, but in one area it is still a bit
klunky - specifying the files to be installed. Right now I drag and
drop the files to be installed, and then have to go into each file's
properties and change the source folder to [SB_PROJECT] (or
[SB_PROJECT]\subdir if the file come from a subdirectory of the source
directory). It's something of a pain. Yes, I'm aware of the 'Convert
File Source Paths' dialog, but in the past I've seen that do strange
things when specifying [SB_PROJECT] as the target (that may be fixed now).
What I'd love to see would be an SB IDE option - something like 'Use
project-file-relative pathing' that when turned on would cause selecting
files in the same directory (or a sub-directory) as the project file
to return a [SB_PROJECT]-relative path, rather than a full path.
