FTP errors

Any way of have a list of all possible error codes?
I am having a #12031 ftp upload error and dont know what to do.

More data, it is hapenning in a large part (00017 of 00025) and does not
happend if I upload via WS_FTP

Can you FTP upload manually?
Can you Telnet to port 21 on the server?
Are your settings (passive, etc.) the same with your manual upload as in
SetupBuilder?

This is WinInet error ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET--The connection with
the server has been reset.

Thanks friedrich, but, why can I upload ok with WS_FTP and not with SB?
Sb stops with this error at part 17 of 25.

I assume, WS_FTP re-opens the connection and tries it again (or it does not
use WinInet at all). But the real question should be, why does your server
terminates the connection ;-) Your server closed the socket and WinInet
returns the error code to the SetupBuilder IDE. This is not a SetupBuilder
issue.

If you Google for ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET you'll find tons of useful
messages.

With the greatest respect for your product and your excellent service....

Telling someone it's not your problem is absolutely not the way to support
this issue..... I have had this problem on many occasions as well, so much
so that i don't use the build in FTP of Setupbuilder any more.

I upload my builds with Core-Ftp as it has disconnected session control and
auto continue on next connections ....i would love to do this with SB FTP
internal, but ........

You have to fix the problem by allowing re-connections, or doing heartbeats
to keep the connection open, or whatever is needed, you can't just supply a
tool and then not look at the problems that the end users experience....

The internal FTP upload should handle re-connections, Slow Slow connections,
protocol switching , etc else that part of SB is just as good as a doorstop.

If I did not help my clients upgrade, support or fix their computers, they
will not be able to run my software........

Let me ask, if the WinInet API that uploads the file receives a
ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET (from the server), what can WE do? The
server closed the socket, not SetupBuilder. So I'll repeat: it's not a
SetupBuilder issue.

There is one improvement in the latest SB7 source codes that tries to
re-connect and re-upload if the server closed the socket and returns
ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET. But I am not sure if this will help.
Other than that, we can't do anything.

Why don't you have it? The SB7 Release Candidate works absolutely stable,
so there is no reason to not install it. The only difference between the
upcoming SB7 Gold version and the SB7 RC will be updated documentation and
three or four minor fixes/modifications.

Yes, but if I read ok, it was for testing and expires August 31.
I am testing it for you, its awsome, but at the end I will not have a SB7
licence, then I am not converting my SB6 projects to 7.

Huh?? The beta program is over. All registered SetupBuilder users (with a
current subscription) received the SetupBuilder 7 keys. SetupBuilder 7
