David,
Jane already gave you the answer you sought.
I'd like to offer a suggestion on an area that hasn't been talked about
much - signing PAD files.
Product Description - PAD Signing with PADGen

PAD is the Portable Application Description, and it helps authors provide
product descriptions and specifications to online sources in a standard
way, using a standard data format that will allow webmasters and program
librarians to automate program listings. PAD saves time for both authors
and webmasters.
You will need a PFX file to CodeSign PAD files - and this article by Jane
includes instructions on how to create one.

The latest PADGen makes it very easy to CodeSign your PAD with a PFX file.
