Re-sizing pane (again)

How do I resize the Variables pane when debugging?
See below... I can't see the full path...

I have asked before for 'grab handles' or some way to resize, as in Visual
Studio...... but got no response.
So perhaps there is already a method I don't know about? (Please enlighten
me as to what it is).

Otherwise, PLEASE put this on the 'ToDo' list...... Ta!

Ok, just consider this is reiteration of the requirement... although yes, I
can access via the methods you indicated (thanks!), neither provides a clean
view of the whole RH pane.

If I must wait until 7, no problem... I'll contain my impatience!

The beginning of my November post says "I have previously requested the

Huh????? November 2008? You are kidding me, right?

You did a "re-request for the 'grab handles'" on June 11, 2009 and I posted
a reply. In other words, I answered your specific question.

Whatever date it was, I answered the question in your "re-request for the
'grab handles'" on June 11, 2009 (see your thread "Pane is a pain"). So the
fact is, you got a response to your question!

The official answer was:

"It's on the drawing board for a later SB7.x release. Unfortunately, it's
not a trivial task to add this."

As an additional note, we already have an experimental "splitter control"
for SB7 available. This will be included in a later SB7.x build.

BTW, what you can already do to see the full path is to use the scroll bar
or double click the variable (see attached screenshots).

I look forward to it.

Though perhaps not suitable for your use, I used to use "Easy Resize &
Split" add-on for this in my own apps... worked well.


When is it anticpated that SB7 will become the primary SB product, and SB6
deprecated?

Unfortunately, "Easy Resize & Split" can't be used in the SB7 IDE. The
screen logic behind the IDE is a mix of Clarion, Visual Studio C/C++ and
Assembly codes.

For the last 9 months, SetupBuilder development work is done exclusively on
the SB7 source code tree. However, quite a few features and bug fixes were
"synced" from SB7 to SB6 (in 10 maintenance builds).

We'll make SB7 (Gold) available on August 07, 2009. At the moment, there is
no new SB6 build planned.
