Hi Friedrich,
1. How does one create a MSI install with SB7?
2. Is compiling a MSI install from the command line any different than
regular .exe installs?
Best regards,

Arnór,
Friedrich wrote me a few days ago that he and his sister are tending a dying
aunt. Perhaps that's why he hasn't been on the NG much lately.
As for MSI support, I just tried compiling an MSI with SB7 and got an error
message (pic).
This didn't surprise me based on the last email I had from Friedrich last
March.
I realize it's not a good idea to forward somebody else's email,
particularly an old one. But this is what he wrote:

Thanks for the information:) Can you tell me how you set a SB7 to compile
as MSI? All I want to do is test if I can get it to compile to MSI from
Build Automator:)

General information tab, Generator, Installer Type dropdown.
Does that help?

Hi Charles,

Thanks - I missed that! Get the same error as Jane, but since this is a
setting in the IDE it should work the same from BA:)

Cool - glad you found it.
The good news is that when the Master of the Universe gets things sorted
out I am sure he'll make short work of the error.
