I've been experiencing problems where my webupdates were working fine on my
machine but not on systems with ISA 2000 & 2004 installed despite having the
correct proxy settings.
Everytime I tried to check for new updates I was getting the error message
network communication error 503010049.
The cause is ISA is setup by default to not allow basic authentication which
SB5 uses so you need to change this. I opted for method 2 on the MS KB post
below becuase all workstations silently check for updates, so anyone else
who experiences this problem might find the solution using this link
