Hi Friedrich
Would it be possible to have the option to put in the proxy server settings
when people are using a web deployment just like the wupdate.exe does?
This is theoretical as well, but some of the companies who will be using the
wupdate.exe feature are banks and investment houses so they take security
quite seriously, now whilst I have sent an email informing them to allow
basic authentication for wupdate, if any object would it be possible to get
it to use windows authentication as an option?
And final request is, when I was do a web deployment I noticed the cluster
files arent compressed becuase the total size of the cluster files was just
over 51mb compared to the normal .exe installation file which was 19mb.
Could the cluster files be compressed?<g>
I also noticed that when I do a Web deployment and then uninstall it, SB
doesnt remove the files or shortcuts only the add remove programs entry.
Should this be the case or am I doing something wrong?<g>
Cheers
Richard
