View Full Version : SB6 script warning

Hi Friedrich,

Opened a SB5 script in SB6 (6.0.1750). When I compile I get an error:

warning GEN1082: Function not supported any longer.

on two instances where there is:

Loop Wizard
Wizard Auto Break
End

and it is failing on the "Wizard Auto Break"

When I went to check out how this is done in the examples, I realized
that my Examples folder is empty. I figured out that the examples
were a separate install so I got that.

I can not find any info on the wizard auto break in the help. The
help also does not mention that the example files are separate
install.

This project has been around since SB5 was in beta I think so there is
probably some garbage in it - and some experimentation by myself<g>

I have commented out the Wizard Auto Break and the project compiles
without problems.

Arnór,

You should only receive a warning, not an error. The executable should be
created without any problem.

See "Wizard Auto Break" thread below.

You can delete the line or comment it out. But you can also leave it where
it is :)

I decided not to remove the "Wizard Auto Break" line during the conversion
process. SetupBuilder 5.6 can still compile a .sb5 project that was opened
with SetupBuilder 6. So in case there is a showstopper in SB6 (I believe it
is not), you can go back to SB5 in a minute.

Hi Arnor,

Yes - that is not needed in SB6.

You can comment it out (as you did) or remove it if your not planning on
reverting to SB5.

The ProScan and ProImage installs that we updated to SB6 gave the same
message and worked flawlessly after we removed the statement.

HTH,

Charles
