Version information

Hi all,

This is a bit off topic, but I'm trying to figure out what file types can
contain version information. Is it just EXE and DLLs or are the other kind
of binary files where version resources can be compiled in?

Windows Portable Executable (PE) format files, such as EXE, DLL, OCX, SYS,
AX, SCR, DRV, CPL, etc. support the version resource.
