Il like to check which version of MDAC is installed.

This may help...

You can probably get it by having your install (if it can access the folder) the
mdac.inf file which is structured just like an INI file...

%WINDIR%\inf\mdac.inf

On my XP system I get this at the head of the file...

[Version]
Signature= "$Windows NT$"
LayoutFile=layout.inf
DriverVer=07/01/2001,5.1.2600.2180
======== >8 =========

Use the Handle Text File feature to findline with 'DriverVer'

Yes, no problem.

"Get System Information" script function, select MDAC Version.
