Append a path to the default install path in SB 5.3

Hello In SB 4 you could set on the dialog screen that a newly selected path
can append to the default one.

Where and how do I do it in SB 5.3 as in the script when I use the set
variable function and select append on it does not reflect on the screen
dialog.

Any help would be appreciated

Johan,

You have several options. For example, append the folder to the
%_SB_INSTALLDIR% variable. Of course, you have to refresh the dialog
(depends on where in the script you append the folder). You can do it
before the Loop Wizard, in the Loop Wizard or after the Loop Wizard.

Set Variable %_SB_INSTALLDIR% to "\MyDir" [Append Value]

Hello Friedrich

I tried what you recommended and two things when I use the change button on
the select destination dialog I cannot append the directory after the
selection was made, it does reflect on the Ready to Install dialog.

When I use the set variable statement in the loop wizard I get 3 extra
appends on it if I use it any where else it is not displayed on the ready to
install dialog.

Sorry about the stupid questions but I am battling at the moment and as it
stands my install will confuse the client.
