ATTN: Friedrich - HELP!!!!

Friedrich,
Can you look at my earlier post and see if you can help me with it ?

It's obviously a very complex issue as I've posted it in two groups and
cannot get it resolved.

Was hoping SB would handle this for me - can it?

Do you have a script for this?

I've looked in the help and under "Search" and "Index" - typing (exclude
quotes "MS SQL SERVER" or "SQL" or "SQL Server", and there's nothing there.

I've got an employer who's wanting me to deploy this app - and I guess I'm
too damn dumb to do it. Have been working 20 hours a day to get the project
ready and am just burnt out.

Please, can you help me with this?

I am not too sure what you are asking for, but maybe I can help with a few tips...

1: Have you used the Static Scan of your app's .EXE file from within your sb project?
If so, then that should pick up all your dependant files for the install. If you have
SB Enterprise, do a Dynamic Scan. Both scans are described in the help.

2: Is MS-SQL2005 installed and running? I am presuming so, because you have built and
tested your app using it. Check my notes at http://sqlkey.com/sql_cw_setup.html

3: Or perhaps you are asking for a script to install SQL2005. That is quite involved
if you want to do it from your same installer. But, I would recommend building a
separate sb project to do that install. See the Downloadable Runtimes that Friedrich
provides.. HelpMenu/Redistributable manager and select what you need...

4: Check any firewall settings

5: check user privileges

No - not "yet" - been doing 100% testing against our remote database.

Nope - not required - our app only dumps data from time-to-time in the
remote DB Server - " if " they have the "Active Internet Connection" checked
in our "System Setup Manager" module of the app.
