Hello,
although this problem is probably not directly related to Setupbuilder, it
did happen after doing a Clarion 7 Alpha install.
Here is the problem.
All apps in remove/add programs do not have a remove button anymore -except
Clarion 7 and an app I installed after Clarion7 Alpha.
Is my registry corrupt or something else has happened ?
Everything was installed with the Administration user.
Using Win XP PRO SP2 with all the lastest patches and IE 7.

Hello Steven,
This is not caused by SetupBuilder nor by the Clarion 7 install. A
SetupBuilder installation does not "touch" other programs' Add/Remove
registry items. You can check the uninstall log to see what the installer
did.
Perhaps the following helps:

Hello Friedrich,
The problem is that there are NO entries for my preClarion7 installations in
the registry at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
The Add/Remove Program List has ALL entries because they are at
HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\Installer\Products.
After some investigation, it seemed to happen AFTER WinXP did an auto update
and it rebooted itself in the middle of the night. Clarion7 and some other
apps where opened at that time ...
So the registry did get corrupted in some way when the machine rebooted.
I temporarely fixed some of my urgent problems by deleting the entries at
HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\... and reinstalling the programs, but as soon as I have the
time, I will reformat and reinstall everything again ...
Thanks for your time.
