Being new to SetupBuilder, I still need to learn a lot... I want my install at the end to run an installed EXE with a commandline parameter. It runs the EXE but does not actually pass the commandline parameter.

The following is used:

File Name: IntegratS.exe
Target Folder: %_SB_INSTALLDIR%
Command Line: /IS

As said, the EXE runs, but the parameter is not used. Attached is a screenshot of the Run Program dialog.

How can I get it to use the commandline parameter?

Thanks,
Thys Marais

Thys,

I have developed a demo for you. Please compile and run Run.sb7. It installs an "asInvoker" manifested IntegrateS.exe and executes it non-elevated at the end of the installation process. It passes /IS to IntegrateS.exe and the IntegrateS.exe application displays the received command line.

Does this help?

BTW, I would suggest to download the SB7 Examples Package. It includes an excellent "Learning SetupBuilder Part I". "Everything you ever wanted to know about SetupBuilder but were afraid to ask" introductory materials.
