Hi Friedrich,
how can I avoid, that process unistall queue restores the backuped
files? I want to remove the installed files, not to roll back.
Thanks for your help.

If the installer replaced the files and the "Remove on Uninstall" File
Properties option is enabled and the "Backup Replaced Files" option in
"General Information" -> "Advanced Settings" is set to "Yes", then the
uninstall always restores the backup files.
If you have the "Backup Replaced Files" option in "General Information" ->
"Advanced Settings" disabled (set to "No), then no backup file is created
and as a result, the uninstall will not restore the previous files.
Does this help?

Hi Friedrich,
unfortunately, no. I want the backup-File created for manual recovery
purposes, but I don't want a roll back on uninstall.
The problem is caused, because I have to update our application which is
not installed via setup builder.
But I can remove my Backup-Folder before processing uninstall queue as
soon as my "folder question 2" is solved and this would help.
Thanks for your answer.

Aha, okay. I understand.

Yes, removing (or temporarily renaming) the backup folder should solve this
problem.
