This may sound odd, but I am wondering if it would be possible to write a
script that would install an app to a flash drive. The advantage to the
user would be the ability to run from any pc that you plug into, the
drawback to the vendor might be security. I would need to deliver to one
customer, without them being able to replicate and give away my software. I
would still need the ability to upgrade the app itself on the flash drive
for my customer. Does this sound doable? My customers tend to have a
desktop pc they work from, but carry a laptop to their work sites. If the
app and data were on a flash drive there would be no issue, just plug in and
work. I am using SB 7.1 but am very new to this, the app is in C6.3 with
ExeShield for security.
