View Full Version : Merging two scripts?

I've got two scripts, one for the server and one for clients. I want
to merge them, and use a runtime switch to control what's installed
(or possibly the "Features" feature built-in to SB).
Is there any way to merge two scripts? Even better, is there a way to
export them both to an ascii form, so that I could compare them to
each other? That would quickly highlight the differences, so that I
could add the unique stuff from one to the other.

Not too bad though... the only reason I knew is I needed the same
thing a few days ago. Only difference, I FOUND IT BEFORE I ASKED!<g>

As for the "merge" part, easiest is probably to paste the code from one
script into the other, then reorganize according to features, SKU, or
whatever.
The trick to pasting between SB scripts is to open one instance of SB for
each script involved.
Then "copy" in one instance and "paste" into the target instance.

That was my plan (regarding the copy and paste). I just wasn't sure
how I was going to compare yet.
