View Full Version : Suggestion: Moving from "Find" to script editor

Friedrich,
If some key, such as Tab or Esc, could be assigned to jump from the
"Find" entry back to the editor it would be handy... for me, anyway.

It's on the "ToDo" list for at least 4 years. I did not find a solution to
this up to now.

Wouldn't TAB work? In other words move the focus back to the script?

If it could be that easy... <g>
No, unfortunately not. What you see there as Script Editor is not a simple
screen. Behind the scenes, there are multiple-threads (Clarion and Visual
Studio) running and that Find field is a native Windows control (not a
Clarion one). For absolutely unknown reasons, it's not possible to catch
the correct events (over the years I have spent at least 150+ hours on it).
