Check for running instance

On a network installation, is it possible to determine whether the application is running? I note that the function Detect Active Application seems only to detect the application running on the "target" machine. I have verified that if the application is running on some other client work station, it does not detect it. Can SB detect this some other way?

Any other tricks/tips?

If the application is running on the server and you install (from a client) to the server then "Detect Active Application" can't detect the active instance running on the server (because it's not "in the memory" of the client). What you can do is to try the "Check In-User File..." function.
