My main installer has web deployment switched on and I point that to a
server ini file called app.ini say. So app.ini version = 1.00
On my upgrade installer (patches) I do the same and have the same ini file
named. Is that correct? Now app.ini version = 2.00
OK so far except for existing clients who have v1.00. So their application
checks out app.ini and sees that v2.00 is available. At this point
wupdate.exe kicks in and updates. But here is my confusion ......
How do I get the .0001/.0002 files to be created? I am missing something
really fundamental here.
I did create an update installer with web installer checked but it does not
seem to create the 0001 etc. files.
