I have a customer that says when they run my installer (websetup) they
get this error message........

Trying to determine the cause. Anyone seen this before?

I'm thinking they are trying to display the EXE in the web browser.....

There was no image attached.

Either it did not post or SV stripped it off.

You may need to post it elsewhere and supply a link.

I never attempted to attach anything....

The subject of the message is the error message the customer gets. I
don't have a picture of it.

The error message they get is:

Error message: [cid:image001.jpg@01CBB7E0.4DCC40E0]

This is not a SetupBuilder error message.

I didn't think so, but of course the customer is saying it's my issue....

Have you ever seen this before?

Hi Paul,

No, sorry. Because this message is not a SetupBuilder error, I have no idea
where it is coming from.

I Googled for "[cid:image001." and found quite a few links.

I think it's related the the browser.

But (IMO) it has nothing to do with your install application.

Seems to be Internet Explorer and/or Outlook Express related.

LOL - sorry about that.

Given the slowness of the newsgroups and talk of stripping off attachments,
combined with that showing up on the subject line (and not in the body), it
looked like the leftovers of a removed attachment.

Hi Paul,

I've seen that when OE or WM can't find the image in the signature of the
email (when the email has been configure to include a signature and that
signature includes an image).
