Is anyone using Code signing for their software? Differences between
VeriSign and Go Daddy?

EVERY developer needs to CodeSign their software.

That said, the ONLY code signing certificate to buy is the one through
Lindersoft/Comodo.

Buy the 3 year certificate for $200.

It is the lowest price out there and you only have to jump through the
hoops once every 3 years.

I'm not sure people developing for DOS - WinXP _NEED_ to code sign
although I can highly recommend the certificate service cited in your
post <g>

DOS and XP aren't development - that's code maintenance<g>.

Thank goodness Microsoft did a far better job on Windows 7 than they did on
Vista.

It is the best OS that they have ever built and one that will certainly
drive more nails into the coffins of DOS and XP.

For developers who are actually developing software to be sold with new
computers, Code Signing is not an option - it is essential.

That said, the Lindersoft/Comodo deal is definitely the way to go.
