Friedrich,
I've done this a thousand times successfully (so it seems <g>), check for updates
gives an error about not finding a manifest file (its there) and returns a -7.
What did I miss?

MIME setting is correct?
Path, file name, user account/password, etc. correct in project?
Put a message box into wupdate to display exactly what it's trying to
download?
You can download the manifest file with a web browser?
%TMPDIR% is pointing at a writeable location?

Friedrich,
Looking over the command line options for wupdate.exe, I want it to show the
update dialog only if there is an update. Not totally clear in the docs which
option this is. /C /S?

Russ,
As a reminder... I'd suggest you look at the source code for wupdate (and/or
wucheck).
c:\program files (x86)\SetupBuilder\Redist\1033
That's where I look to find out details of how those work.
