Web update calling web page

Hi Friedrich,

I may need to call a php script from a web update to check for special
customer license status before an update can be downloaded, separate from
the maintenance plan. Can I call a script in SB with parameters and return
true/false from it and the web update can pick it up? I seem to recall
asking this 2-3 years back but I didn't need to do it then - may need to do
it now and I can't find that old discussion;)

Any ideas?

Some months ago, I stumbled across a project file. It tried to connect to
your site and call a PHP to send data and receive a return value. IIRC, you
had a test PHP on your server for me that I have used to enhance the "Post
to HTTP Server..." script function.

So I think "Post to HTTP Server..." can do what you need ;)
