At the moment, there are no plans for built-in FTPS and/or SFTP support.
This would be a huge investment. And all the required "components" for SFTP
would (at least) double the size of the SetupBuilder runtime.

Another big disadvantage of SFTP is that the standards define certain things
as optional or recommended, which leads to certain compatibility problems
between different software titles from different vendors. FTP in general
can result in a support nightmare.

So I think it's easier to develop or use an external DLL for SFTP (not sure
if CapeSoft has tools available here) and then call it from the SetupBuilder
installer.

Hi Guys (yes, Jane, you're one of the guys)...

Capesoft supports FTPS (FTP over SSL), but not SFTP (Secure Shell FTP)

Hello,

I use Catalyst for ALL my socket tools in my Clarion applications. (SFTP,
HTTPS, HTTP, FTP, MAPI, POP, SMTP, WinSock)
