Hello,
My current freeware installer does not support Windows 8. Is there or will there be support for Win 8 in Setupbuilder so that it doesn't trigger the PCA on Win 8.
Regards,
Sabiha

Sabiha,
Yes, the current SetupBuilder 7.6 already comes with preliminary support for Windows 8. Compiled applications are Windows 8-aware to ensure that software gets installed properly -- in other words, "Program Assistant Compatibility" mitigation will NOT kick in.
The upcoming SetupBuilder 7.7 comes with enhanced Windows 8 support.
Hope this helps.

My impression is for the time being on my Windows 7 64-bit system I need to use a 32-bit version of Eclipse etc. Is that correct and when will you support 64-bit?

For more than 7 years, SetupBuilder Developer Edition supports 64-bit ;)
