Hey,

The Helpfile say:

> If you selected more than one language in the Languages panel of the General Information Properties, and one of those languages matches the target system's language, then SetupBuilder launches the installation in the target system's language.

Hello,

We'll have to get our hands on a German Windows 7 version to test this and I
get back to you.

Dirk,

It definitely did not work as expected in V7.6. This seems to be a
regression.

But I think we have fixed it in V7.7 now.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Friedrich

Is it possible that the default language in the Language dialog will be
chosen in advance?

If Show Language dialog has been activated?

Hehehe... :)

'Fear Of The Dark' is my favorite Iron Maiden song.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

It's basically about the fear of losing control and drifting into the
madness that threatens virtually everyone at one point or another in life

BTW, you can develop your own language selection procedure. See the "Radio
Button 2.sb7" example.

See the picture.

I mean, the standard dialog.

If the operating system, e.g., German is - well, the dialogue can
already be pre-selection as a German

Aha, okay. Yes, that is caused by the same bug and works as expected now.

FIX : [SB#203261] Installer: Under certain circumstances, the
automatic language detection in a multiple-language setup

Hence my attraction to the title of the Alan Watts tome (don't remember
whether I actually read it during my hippy youth, but there's a copy on my
bookshelf):
"The Wisdom of Insecurity"

Not to be confused with "The Cloud of Unknowing", which I did read multiple
times during that period.

"All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusion is called a
philosopher. "
-Ambrose Bierce

"The only difference between me and a madman is that I'm not mad."
-Salvador Dali
