I just noticed this today. I can reproduce the issue on both XP and
Windows 7 workstations.
To reproduce:
1. Create an empty project.
2. Add 2 files in the Files and Folders Dialog box (from top-right box
to bottom-right box).
3. In the bottom right box (Add box), right-click and Select All.
4. Right-click again and select Details.
5. Go to Advanced Tab. Select any of the attributes, then click OK.
I expect it to change all of the selected files to the selected check
boxes, but it seems to clear out any checked boxes when you go back and
look at each of the file's properties one at a time.
You can however change multiple selected files for the "File Linking tab
source folder" option, but doing so clears out any checked file
attributes from the Advanced tab.
Now if you individually go in and toggle an attribute one file at a
time, you can then select multiple files of the ones you have toggled
and can mass change them and it will stick. This is true for Conditions
- Replacement Option as well.
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks...jack
