How to be sure, that all citrix servers are updated.

Hi!

I have a program, which is used of app. 1000 users on a citrix network
with 58 citrix servers.

We are making updates quite regularyly, unfortunately.
The IT department sends a message - Nobody should use the program from
17:00 to 18:00 on 09082012, but of cause, there is ALLWAYS some who
has the program open.

How to close them down first, and then install the program.

I think its something with a seperate 'Install program' containing a
'Check-in use files' followed by 'Terminate Active Application ' and
writing to a logfile to tell about there was some who did not close
down nicely.

Suggestions?

Tried this - Not very complicated!

Set Variable %EASYPLANINUSE% to FUNCTION:Detect Active
Application("easyplan.exe") [File Name]

Display Message Box "Program open = %EASYPLANINUSE%\nReturnex =
%_SB_R..." -- "Result"
If %EASYPLANINUSE% Equals "1" Then
Terminate Application ""C:\Program
Files\BBSOFT\EASYPLAN\EasyPlan.exe"" [Application File Name] [Gently]
Display Message Box "%_SB_ERRORCODE%" -- "Error"
End


Don't do anything....

The first message box returns a "1" for %EasyplanInUse% and blank for
%_SB_RETURNEX%

The second returns 603 for %_SB_ERRORCODE% (Program not running)

I have tried with and without "" in ""C:\Program
Files\BBSOFT\EASYPLAN\EasyPlan.exe""

What am i doing wrong?

See attached screenshot. File Name specifies the name of the file WITHOUT
the path name.
