In the process of moving my Clarion 6.1 over to this new machine. Bought VM
Workstation and it works very well.
What is the best way - do I move my SB and apps into the virtual drive, or
run C6 and access the apps in the host.
It is always in the details :)

I'd say it's more a personal preference.
I have all my installs of C4/5/5.5/6.# on a shared host drive. My 3rd
party development is on another shared host drive and my contract work
is on yet another.
With my arrangement I can access everything from every VM and keep up
with my backups since the shared folders on the host are always
accessible.

Hi Don,
What Lee said. It's a personal preference.
I only backup to shared host drives. I have everything installed on the
virtual disk drives. I share the virtual disk drives and can also access it
from other VMs.

Thanks Lee, Friedrich
Decided to keep everything on the host drive as it seems more convenient.
Lee, you were right, the VM Workstation was well worth the cost.
