Hi, Friedrich,

Several times I've wondered and today thought I'd ask - what software do you
use for the tracking you do of feature requests and bug reports that
generates your summary (IMPROVEMENT/FIX/CHANGE etc.) listing?

I have developed a Clarion app way back in 1999 to handle it. All the
feature requests, enhancement suggestions, bug reports, workarounds and tons
of code snippets / examples are stored in a TPS database. I am using LSZip
to compress code snippets and binary files directly into a TPS BLOB.

Jane,

I have EZChangelog from Charles Edmonds.

My problem is, that I have to think of using it..... but once I remember it,
its easy to use! Worth a try.

What I am looking for is a tool with that I can document the tiny steps of
everyday work, like documenting the purpose of each field, or why / how I do
this or use that function. I am sure it will take some moments to remember if I
look into old source in 12 months from now. A searchable doument with
structured Date / Time / Author / Purpose / Description / Whatever might be
helpful then.

I would write it by myself, but I am too busy to produce the mess I want to document.....
