Script to remove existing program prior to installation

Hi,

I'm new to SB and have an existing installation that was compiled with Installshield. Upon running my new SB installer, I would like to remove the old installation and do some file cleanup prior to installing the new version compiled with SB. Is this possible through a script? Can I somehow set the script to run at the beginning of my installation (before copying any files)?

Hello,

Yes, absolutely no problem :). You can uninstall it from within your new SetupBuilder install. You only need the "ProductGUID" and then call the MSI uninstall.
