Your Code Signing Certificate is ready!
Thursday, July 04, 2013, 11:00:56 AM (Thu, 04 Jul 2013 15:00:56 +0000)
After Lynn Howard expressed the unpleasant news about the new callback
number requirement (phone number listed in certain business data bases),
and with a little over two weeks for Encourager Software Code Sign
Certificate to expire - I decided to take immediate action, put my order
in, and work through the requirements.
Here is what I did...
After I put my order in (thanks again to Lindersoft - Comodo sponsored
discounted rates) - I immediately filed a support request with a scanned
jpg copy of my business licence.

Now your order ?????????? is in callback status. We need to verify your
order information through phone.
Of course, many are familiar with this - last step before getting the
certificate.
OK - onto the Lynn Howard phone number glitch! :-)
My company does have a Duns&Bradstreet profile - but created without my
intervention (or ability to update previously) - SO the phone listed in
Comodo email is incorrect.
We exchange a couple emails - this is what fixed it for me!
Comodo listed these databases -
dnb.com
superpages.com
yellowpages.com
whitepages.com
http://www.supermedia.com/spportal/quickbpflow.do
supermedia form is superpages - you can claim a company listing by working
through that form.
Filled it out - then confirm email was supposed to be sent July 3 2012, but
they didn't send it until next day.
Completed supermedia process successfully, wrote to Comodo - it's complete,
can you see it on your end?
They responded back with another - Now your order ?????????? is in callback
status WITH correct phone number
I wrote back, yes, it's correct, and within three hours, I had the
callback, and shortly after -
Then Your Code Signing Certificate is ready! Success!
I know many have legitimate troubles with Comodo - but with this order -
everything was VERY timely responses from Comodo - perhaps because I was
working on the holiday, and their traffic was slower.

Anyone want to verify it was that quick - the Software Developers Profile
Exchange EXE is code signed with the new certificate.
I used a Windows 7 virtual machine and FireFox - easy enough to retrieve -
Tools - Options - Advanced - Encryption - View Certificates - Your
Certificates - Backup and add password - extension is named p12, but you
can change extension to pfx.
Of course, my situation won't cover other business details - but for those
that can use what I did - use the supermedia form NOW and get a head jump!
