Subscription key length

Friedrich - I think the subscription key length I create is 169 characters
long.

Is this a guaranteed length?

I am using cut and paste of an email and need to be able to identify the
length accurately.

i.e.

==========
123345....
==========

So I search for end of first ======, then go forward 169 characters.

Hi John,

No, 169 is not the guaranteed length. The subscription key length depends
on several factors.

But if your key length is 169 characters and the length of your Verification
ID, Valid Until Version, etc. items are always the same, then the generated
key is always 169 characters (in your case).

BTW, our own temporary key length for SetupBuilder is always 56 characters,
the permanent key is 120 characters.

Thanks Friedrich - you beat me to it before I could cancel it.

I realised afterwards that I check for the end of the first ====== and the
start of the next ======== so anything in between can be of any length.
