Install error

The attached error comes up even when UAC if off, Firewall suspended and
Trend Titanium off. What else might be blocking the install. Win7/64 and
SAFReader.exe to be installed.

A couple of things....
- Is there space avail on the HDD where the windows temp folder is located?
- Does your install/setup .EXE have in its name one of Setup, Install, Update ?

Good questions but they do not apply. The exe is from Capesoft
SAFreader.exe. HDD has around 340gb spare and all shared with no exceptions.
I've passed it on to Geoff Thompson as well as it came from CS but the
message is from Setup Builder.

1: Unless things have changed SAFreader simply unpacks the install
before it's run and the install is written in SB.

2: Free space doesn't necessitate available space within your TEMP/TMP
folders. See if they're clogged.

SB7 installs without error.

Just downloaded SB8 to the desktop and it installs ok from there. I'll try
the same with SAFReader.

If these are the same install images (no re-download) then the virus
protection still blocked (even in "disabled" mode) the SB executables.

Then the re-download seems to have "freed" the lock. All previous attempts
to launch the install were blocked by the protection software.
