I have read the documentation on the use of GUIDs and we use them with all our products. Each of our products has multiple releases such as Single User, Net 5 User, Demo Copy, Dealer Copy, Eval Copy, etc.
Each release gets its very own Product GUID which is set in the "Releases" Section of the SB product. So far so good.
In the General Information Visualizer section of SB, there is a place for the Product GUID and another place for the Upgrade GUID. However, in the Release section there is only a place for a Product GUID.
This seems to allow for having a different GUID for each release, but only ONE GUID for ALL updates.
Is there a way to enter different GUIDs for different releases or is there supposed to be only one Update GUID for all releases of a given product?
