SetupBuilder 5 Developer Edition (beta) #1078

SB5 Developer Edition (beta) build #1078 is released.

Please click "Check for Updates..." from within your SB5 IDE to update to
#1078.

Note: we have used the new "Auto Update Scan" to automatically generate the
WebUpdate installation (took 6 seconds). Auto Update Scan compares the
folders containing our older and newer files. Then it generates the update.

We are 99% code complete now and documentation will be available next week.

FEATURE : Add support for Billboards
IMPROVEMENT: Add a vertical scroll bar to the Text and Message list
IMPROVEMENT: The compiler automatically "converts" the Dialog ID Placeholder
to a constant
IMPROVEMENT: Add "Display Billboard" script item
IMPROVEMENT: Add "Add Info to Ready to Install Demo 1.sb5" script to
demonstrate how to add custom setting information in the
"Current Setting" box in the "Ready to Install" dialog
IMPROVEMENT: Add "Billboard Demo 1.sb5" script to demonstrate how to display
Bitmaps during an installation process
REGRESSION : The string function 'Count search string occurrences' grayed
out the search string field

I deliberately skipped the last version. The update handled it no problem.
I'm now at 1078.

Any word on when the inactive modules will be released? Like the
distribution wizard.

My Setupbuilder "Freezes" while the installer is downloading the setup
files...

All screenshots are frozen. I would believe you better if you attached a
movie <bg>.

download link.

Hmm, perhaps it's your proxy server or something like that?

The configuration file on our server points to sb51078_dev.exe and not to
sb51076_dev.exe. Could you please try it again?

Updated using "Check for Updates" for SB5 Dev #1076 to #1078 - no problems
and fast download! <g>
(Cable modem download - W2K PRO)

Tested Billboard Demo 1.sb5 - worked great! <g>
