View Full Version : Win8 confusion

I've just moved all my tools to a new laptop with Win8 so a lot of
things seem a little unfamiliar <g>. So far I'm coping but I had a big
surprise when I did the first static scan of myprogram.exe on this pc. I
get a list of my program files and the usual dll files as expected. But
I also get the below list. I assume I'm _not_ supposed to include all that?

And for Windows 8.1 (depends on the patch level and components used), there
is even more.

So one of the next SB maintenance builds will come with this:

CHANGE : IDE: Add more "api-ms-win-core-?", "api-ms-win-eventing-?",
"api-ms-win-security-?", "api-ms-win-service-core-?" and
"api-ms-win-shell-shellcom-?" DLLs to SBSCAN.INI.
