Most likely can't reach the site. Try again?

Bin trying.

You would think a descriptive error would appear
I have no idea what error 0 is

It just means that no error code is available from the FTP server. But
"garagepartner.com/webu" looks strange as FTP name. In most cases, a FTP
server looks like ftp.garagepartner.com/public_html/webu

I will try your suggestion, but the address is the one I use LeapFTP and all
my NetTalk FTP stuff.

Thanks

Dan

Hi Dan,

IMO, it should be:

ftp.garagepartner.com/webu

Don't forget to use Port 21 (FTP!) and PASV mode if you need it to go
through your firewall.

I have dozens of servers with FTP on them. None of them use ftp.domain.*.

It's not a black & white thing.

I've had ISPs that used a different IP or host/Translation to get to
the ftp server.

But for the most part, I've seen it how Mark describes.

Yep. Windows servers tend to use the convention Friedrich mentions, but not
all of em:)

I really had no idea... You never stop learning new things <g>. Just for
fun I checked all script writing consulting projects (large and small ones)
back to 2007 and they *all* had FTP server addresses in form of
ftp.yada.com. Our own web server is powered by Apache and the FTP site is
NcFTPd Server (ftp.lindersoft.com, ftp.setupbuilder.com, etc.).
