Wow! Never saw one *that* bad! But I have seen the AVG and Ask toolbar
PUPs quite a number of times.

BTW - when I install Clarion, I always use the Custom option. I want to
*see* where things go.

Hi Jane,

The sad fact is that most of the "download" sites now a days use this.
I'm to a point where if I can't find the original download company, I'm
not downloading software for testing! I'm only lucky that I run AV and
Malwarebytes or I would have got some nasty stuff on my machines more
than once because of PUPs. I did get one on Laila's machine last year
and it took me a day to get all the crap out and clean it up:( My
brother got hit with one of those things that lock your drive and demand
ransom. He didn't pay but he lost a few thousand photos that he didn't
have backed up (he has a few hundred thousands that he HAD backed up,
just missed those)

Best regards,

I like how the author thinks they're not getting crapware because of
their awesome decision making skills.

The only decision is to abort after the first 2 or 3 screens and hope
it didn't do something bad.

I'll search help files & Google for you.

Source code is like a joke.
If you have to explain it, then it's not funny.
