Compiler error GEN1053: Code signing process failed. Error Code: -1

Perhaps I should also add (no idea whether relevant), this error line comes
up after:

Processing Uninstall Code-Signing ...
Adding Digital Certificate to Uninstall ...
Compiler Error etc.

I think I saw that when I couldn't access the timestamp server in a timely fashion?

to answer this question, we need more information:

1. SetupBuilder version?
2. Windows version?
3. Certificate format (.SPC/.PVK or .PFX)?
4. SHA signing type (SHA-1, SHA-2, "dual" SHA-1/SHA-2)?
5. Authenticode signing tool name and version?
6. Authenticode components registered (Capicom)?

And on top of this, what Liam said. Please check if the timestamp server is
accessible, check the certificate configuration (certificate still valid and
not expired?, password correct?).
