Which AV gets your vote Friedrich?

Despite much negative press, Avast! has seemed OK for me until now, but
today I'm losing patience - the buggar is constantly quarantining a pdf
I need to read and it (Avast!) will soon be history on this machine.

Do I remember correctly, was nod32 your villain of choice?

Hi Simon,

Yes, we are using ESET NOD32 Antivirus on all machines now. I'll never go
back to avast!

I was a big fan of avast! and an ESET hater. But this changed in November
2014 <g>.

Wow

The installation process was impressive. It wanted me to close down
browsers (firefox at the time) and email clients (thunderbird at the
time), did it's thing and no O/S restart required. Then a quick trip to
some EICAR websites showed it kicking-in.

Obviously stoked that nod32 appears to be a UK-based thing <g>, but
wondering if you tweak anything or just run with default setup?
